ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) _ D.R. Horton Inc. (DHI) on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $1.65 billion. On a per-share basis, the Arlington, Texas-based company said it had profit of $4.67. The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 16 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $4.51 per share. The homebuilder posted revenue of $8.79 billion in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Fourteen analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $8.
